GMTV broadcasts all Board of Mayor & Aldermen, some Board of Education meetings, Design Review Commission, and Planning Commissions live from the main chamber so you can keep up to date on the important news going on in Germantown. These meetings are broadcast by the talented students of Houston High School.                      

Germantown Municipal School District

As part of the Germantown Municipal School district, we want to keep you informed about what's going on in our schools. Check out our community bulletin boards to stay up to date on news and events that are happening in the GMSD schools. Our bulletin board airs from

6-8  a.m. and also in between the beginning of different programming so no matter what time of day, you can stay aware of all the great things GMSD has to offer!                  


Germantown Municipal Television was founded in June of 2014 by a partnership with the city of Germantown and the Germantown Municipal School District.  The goal of this PEG station is to produce programming and bring awareness of events happening in Germantown to the citizens that make this city so great.

GMTV is live on AT&T U-Verse channel 99 and Comcast channel 17 in the city of Germantown. Our livestream will be available on this website soon.                    

Our Staff

Every position in our studio is run completely by the students at Houston High School. From programming, to directing, to producing, the Advanced Film and Video students are responsible for a daily news show and all of our original programming.
